Maduganga (ganga is Sinhalese for river) is situated in Balapitiya, along the country’s southern coast, within the Galle District of the southern Province of Sri Lanka. That is 83km away through the galle road from capital of Sri Lanka, Colombo (nearly 3hours drive from Colombo). Balapitiya Bridge (300m south from Balapitiya bus stand) is over this Maduganga.
